The City of Arts and Sciences (Valencian: Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències; Spanish: Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias) is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia, Spain. It is the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain.

Designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, the project began the first stages of construction in July 1996, and was inaugurated April 16, 1998 with the opening of L'Hemisfèric. The last great component of the City of Arts and Sciences, El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia, was inaugurated on October 9, 2005, Valencian Community Day.

Mexico City's Biblioteca Vasconcelos (Vasconcelos Library), also known as Biblioteca Vasconcelos or else la Biblioteca Vasconcelos or la Vasconcelos and labeled by the press as the Megabiblioteca ("megalibrary"), is a library in the downtown area of Mexico City (Buenavista neighborhood, Cuauhtémoc borough). It was dedicated to José Vasconcelos, the philosopher and former presidential candidate and former president of the National Library of Mexico.

The library is spread across 38,000 square metres (409,000 sq ft)

The President of Mexico Vicente Fox inaugurated the library on 16 May 2006, and stated that this was one of the most advanced constructions of the 21st century, and that it would be spoken of throughout the world. 

In the tightly knit urban fabric of mexico city, TAX arquitectura | alberto kalach designs the biblioteca jose vasconcelos amongst a luscious botanical garden.  The design manifests alberto kalach’s desire to seize every opportunity to create green space In the polluted, aggressively built context. These two typologies are not so divergent, as the library houses human knowledge, and the garden is planted with a rich sample of local flora. the result is is a symbiosis of natural and cultural learning environments. the planted landscape itself promotes ecological renewal in the dry climate, and will ameliorate air quality in the vicinity.
The heavy concrete structure is lightened with an extensive glass enclosure, at the exterior, the rhythm of mullions parallels the densely planted garden which acts as a screen between the inner working of the library and its planted landscape. The facade’s horizontal strata provide ample shading for the reading areas beneath the transparent skin. inside, central media stacks appear to float above the grand lobby. Their orthogonal plan is staggered in section, creating an intricate network of pathways and balconies that resemble a plant’s root system. the building itself is supported by an underground parking structure.

The building is situated in the Bjørvika neighborhood of central Oslo, at the head of the Oslofjord. It is operated by Statsbygg, the government agency which manages property for the Norwegian government.

The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (Catalan: Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, abbreviated as MACBA) is situated in the Plaça dels Àngels, in El Raval, Ciutat Vella, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. 

The museum opened to the public on November 28, 1995. Previous directors were Daniel Giralt-Miracle (1988–1994), Miguel Molins (1995–1998), Manuel J. Borja-Villel (1998–2007), and Bartomeu Marí (2008-2015), while the current director, since 2015 is Ferran Barenblit.

BMW Welt (English – BMW World) is a multi-use exhibition center used for meetings and promotional events, and where buyers take delivery of BMW vehicles. It is in district Am Riesenfeld in Munich, Germany, next to the BMW Headquarters and the Olympiapark. 

In 2001 an international architectural design competition was sponsored by BMW AG. Twenty-seven offices participated in the competition four of which were awarded prizes. The jury awarded two offices Sauerbruch Hutton and COOP HIMMELB(L)AU first prize and made the recommendation for the competitors to rework their design submissions in a third design phase in order for BMW to determine which office would be awarded the contract.

The contract was awarded to the Vienna-based architects COOP HIMMELB(L)AU and the facility was constructed from August 2003 through summer 2007 at a cost of US$200 million. Originally conceived to be open and ready for World Cup 2006, it eventually opened on October 17, 2007, and deliveries commenced on October 23, 2007. The first customer to take European delivery of a new BMW at the Welt was Jonathan Spira.

Designed with an 800 kW solar plant on its roof, "the building does not have the boredom of a hall, it is not only a temple, but also a market place and a communication center and meeting place for knowledge transfer", said architect Prix at the opening ceremony.

The Monument to the Revolution (Spanish: Monumento a la Revolución) is a landmark and monument commemorating the Mexican Revolution. It is located in Plaza de la República, which crosses at the heart of the major thoroughfares Paseo de la Reforma and Avenida de los Insurgentes in downtown Mexico City.

Phoenix - Frank Lloyd Wright - Grady Gammage Auditorium

The National Forum of Music is a music venue located in Wrocław, Poland. It was completed in 2015 and houses a large concert hall with 1800 seats and three chamber halls (from 250-450 seats) and is home to many major ensembles and festivals in Wrocław. The postmodern building of the National Forum of Music (NFM) was designed by APA Kuryłowicz & Associates. It is one of the largest and most modern music venues in Poland.

The construction of the venue started in 2009 and was completed in 2015. It covers the area of 48,500 square metres and is situated in the Liberty Square in the city centre near the historic Wrocław Opera. The building consists of six floor above ground level as well as three underground floors. The Witold Lutosławski National Forum of Music is a cultural institution that is headquartered in the building. It was created in 2014 due to a merger of two other institutions - Wratislavia Cantans International Festival of Music and the Wrocław Philharmonic. Andrzej Kosendiak, the current director of NFM, was one of the main initiators of the project to create the new venue.

The Jewish Museum Berlin (Jüdisches Museum Berlin) is one of the largest Jewish Museums in Europe. In three buildings, two of which are new additions specifically built for the museum by architect Daniel Libeskind, two millennia of German-Jewish history are on display in the permanent exhibition as well as in various changing exhibitions. The Altes Museum (German for Old Museum) is a museum building on Museum Island in Berlin, Germany. Since restoration work in 2010/11, it houses the Antikensammlung (antiquities collection) of the Berlin State Museums. The museum building was built between 1823 and 1830 by the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel in the neoclassical style to house the Prussian royal family's art collection. Along with the other museums and historic buildings on Museum Island, the Altes Museum was designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.

Christ the Light is designed by architect Craig W. Hartman, of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The Catholic Cathedral Corporation of the East Bay, the incorporated owner of the cathedral, chose Webcor Builders as the general contractor of cathedral construction. Originally planned in 2000 under the direction of Bishop John Stephen Cummins and broken ground on May 21, 2005, Christ the Light was consecrated and dedicated by Bishop Allen Henry Vigneron on September 25, 2008. On All Souls' Day November 2, the mausoleum was dedicated and the first Bishop of Oakland, Floyd Lawrence Begin, was reburied in one of its crypts.
